Frederick Afrifa is an award-winning presentation skills expert, motivational speaker, former athlete and contestant on The Apprentice 2025. He is the co-founder of Believe In Greatness, a professional training and coaching company.
Born in Milan, Italy, Frederick lived there with his parents and two younger sisters before moving to UK at the age of 12, after his father lost his job. He studied accounting and French at the University of Hertfordshire and graduated in 2019.
A talented athlete, specialising in sprinting, Frederick has two national Gold medals under his belt. According to Great Athletes, he’s been London Schools Champion (2011), World Youth Relay Champion (2013), Surrey County Champion (2015), and National Champion (2018).
Frederick signed his first professional contract in athletics in 2019 and represented Italy during the European Championship. He also appeared on Ninja Warrior UK 2019. When the pandemic hit, his dreams of becoming a sports star took a backseat as competitive events were cancelled or postponed.
This marked the start of his career in public speaking and in 2022, he co-founded Believe in Greatness and was soon working with corporations such Sky, Shell Energy and BT and clients from all over the world.
