Feven Kay (also known as Feven Kifle Giorgis) is the early morning anchor and reporter for FOX 5 Las Vegas. She has worked at FOX5 News since November 2018. She can be seen on the desk 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays and reporting live the remainder of the morning covering the top stories of the day.

Prior to joining FOX5 News, Kay was an Anchor/Reporter/Multimedia Journalist at KERO 23ABC News in Bakersfield, California, where she worked closely with Veterans, pet rescues and community outreach programs.

Feven Kay, also known as Feven Kifle Giorgis, was arrested at around 7:30 a.m. on March 20, 2021, after she was found in her birthday suit and asleep behind the wheel of her Audi, according to a police report from the Metropolitan Police Department.

Her car was found in the travel lane on Matthew Avenue, near Paradise Road and East Windmill Lane. She told police she didn’t remember how she got to Matthew Avenue and stumbled out of her car. Officers reported a distinct smell of alcohol coming from her but she declined to submit her blood.

She was charged with reckless driving with a disregard for the safety of a person or property and sentenced last Wednesday to a $1,000 fine and driving school, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

On April 26, 2021, Kiflegiorgis said in a statement aired on Fox 5: “Many of you have noticed I’ve been off air for a few weeks. As I move forward, I want you to know I have learned from this and I will continue learning.”
