He competed in multiple PRORODEO and Xtreme Bulls events throughout his career. In the 2025 season Grant had $3,760 in earnings and $15,710 in his career.
In 2021, while also competing for the University of Wyoming rodeo team, he won the bull riding title at the Mountain States Circuit Finals Rodeo with 169.5 points on two head. He won Round 3 at the MSCFR in Loveland, Colo., that year with an 86.5-point ride on The Cervi Brothers’ Classic Equine Bad Memory.

Bull rider Dylan Grant passed away on April 3, 2025 after suffering injuries during the Wharton County Youth Fair Xtreme Bulls event in Wharton, Texas. According to the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, he sustained an injury in the second round at the Wharton County event after being bucked off by a bull in the arena.
Medics rushed him into an ambulance where they began working to stabilize him. He was then taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, where he passed away.
“The PRCA would like to send its thoughts and prayers to bull rider Dylan Grant’s family, friends and the entire rodeo/bull riding community after Grant passed away after suffering injuries Thursday night during the Wharton County Youth Fair Xtreme Bulls event in Wharton, Texas,” the PRCA said in a statement.
“We are deeply saddened at the news of his death and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends,” the University of Wyoming said in a statement to ABC News. “He was a true Wyoming Cowboy.”
