DJ Amanda Blaze, whose real name was Amanda Lynn Guzman, was an award-winning professional DJ. She worked in clubs locally and internationally, on cruise ships, and at corporate events. She specialized in open format music from hip hop, top 40, R&B, and old school.
Guzman said on her official Facebook page that she performed in the United States, Canada and Dubai and worked with artists including Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, 50 Cent and Ciara.
She graduated from Penn State University with a Master of Arts Degree in 2004 and was a member of the Sigma Lamda Gamma National Sorority. After graduation, she moved to Brooklyn, New York and lived there for nearly a decade. She then moved to Miami, Florida, where she remained until her death.
