Harry Kirkpatrick is head chef at Trinity, a Michelin starred restaurant in Clapham, London. He is a contestant on BBC’s Great British Menu 2025.
Originally from Brooke, Harry studied at Framingham Earl and Wymondham College and had a job washing pots and pans at the King’s Head pub in his village when he was 16 years old.
Harry started his career at the Bournemouth and Poole College on the Specialised Chefs Scholarship under the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts. Since leaving culinary college, he’s since worked in some of the best restaurants in the world including; Claridge’s Hotel in Mayfair, two Michelin-star restaurant Alex Dilling at Hotel Café Royal in London, and the world-renowned three Michelin-star restaurant Eleven Madison Park in New York, before finally becoming head chef at Trinity restaurant.
Harry returned to Trinity, the neighbourhood restaurant in Clapham Old Town, in the role of head chef in 2023, aged 30. Adam Byatt’s London restaurant, Trinity, has consistently featured in the National Restaurant Awards’ top 100 UK restaurants and has consistently held a Michelin star since 2017. It opened in 2006.

Trinity’s head chef Harry Kirkpatrick will be competing on the Great British Menu on BBC Two. He is representing the Central and Eastern Region on the cookery show alongside David Taylor, Sally Abé and Thom Bateman.
Harry’s food is heavily rooted in the classics, with a focus on simple and clean cooking with impeccable presentation, and this is exactly what Harry aims to do in the competition, while celebrating some of the best inspirations from Norfolk and the Central region.
