Corey Jamison is the chef and owner of Urban Chefs Table in Washington, DC. He is a contestant on the season 11 of the Food Network’s “Spring Baking Championship.” The Washington, DC-based chef has been watching Food Network since he was 10 years old.
Corey started learning cooking techniques at an early age. From those early culinary beginnings, he earned scholarships and grants to attend pastry school and worked at top restaurants and bakeries to hone his skills. He earned a degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University.
According to his LinkedIn page, Corey worked as an executive pastry chef at Edison ballroom and as a pastry chef at 701 RESTAURANT LLC. He was also the head pastry chef at the Dog Tag Bakery, Executive Pastry Chef at Ellie Bird (formerly Rooster & Owl) and Kitchen Manager at momofuku milk bar in Brooklyn, NY.

Pastry chef Corey Jamison is a contestant on the season 11 of the Food Network’s “Spring Baking Championship.” The show is hosted by Canadian native Jesse Palmer.
“Since I was 10 years old, I’ve been watching Food Network, learning cooking techniques at an early age,” Corey wrote on Instagram. “I was inspired by incredible chefs like G. Garvin and B. Smith, but above all, my greatest inspiration has always been my grandmother, Doris Barlow.”
