Carlacia Grant (full name Carlacia Candace Grant) is an American actress known for her role as Cleo in Netflix’s Outer Banks. The actress recurred as Danielle Turner in the TV show Greenleaf starring alongside Oprah Winfrey on OWN and as Leesha Bausch in NBC’s Game of Silence. Her credits also include Roots, Bae Night, Headlines and The Resident.

The New Haven native started her acting career in summer theatre camp where she was cast as the Lead in the Robert Louis Stevenson Play “Treasure island”. She has trained at the infamous Esper studios in New York. She credits hard work and a little bit of luck for her booming career.

Carlacia always wanted to be an actress and a model. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, she moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida with her mother in 1999. In 2004, at the age of 13, her mother entered her for the first time in a local pageant just to see if she had talent. She won Miss Junior Teen Miami Division beating over 200 contestants. She went on representing Miami in the national pageant. It was her first and only pageant. Carlacia has modeled for a number of high fashion designers such as Lily Pulitizer, art of shade, Le’Chic couture and Labella fashions. She has done print work for Viola and Bank Atlantic. She has appeared in many different national, international, and statewide commercials such as Gatorade, Direct tv, Rexona, Pet Supermarket, and Old Jamaican Ginger Beer just to name a few.
