Bob Montgomery is an American journalist that works as a news anchor for WSBT – TV which is a dual CBS/Fox-affiliated television station. He is the morning and noon anchor for the station and has been a broadcast journalist since 1989 when he started his career in St. Louis, Missouri market at radio station WIBV. In 1991, Bob and his wife moved to WSBT to carry on with his career in South Bend. Since then, he has been the morning radio news anchor on WSBT.
In 1996, he got the promotion to the position of news and program director for WSBT Radio. He is proud to have headed a radio news staff that is the most award-winning in South Bend over the last two decades. He is also extremely proud to work for WSBT, the broadcast company he calls the best in the industry. And he is proud and humbled to be able to continue his career on television with WSBT 22 First in the Morning.
He likes to stay active with his family throughout the year. The family loves swimming, travel, and golf in the summer and sledding and skiing in the winter.
