Marcia Johnson is an American real estate investor and also known for being the wife of the late Bill Withers who was an American singer-songwriter and musician who performed and recorded from 1970 until 1985. He recorded several major hits, including Ain’t No Sunshine, Grandma’s Hands, Use Me, Lean on Me, Lovely Day, and Just the Two of Us.

Prior to running her husband’s music business, she worked for Management III and Concerts West. She then went on to serve as her husband’s manager as he was progressing in his long and successful career. In a 2015 interview with Rolling Stone, she said she ran the Bill Withers business out of an office on Sunset Boulevard. Withers described the operation as a “mom and pop shop,” adding, “She’s my only overseer. I’m lucky I married a woman with an MBA.”
