Beth Hoy Biography – Beth Hoy Wiki
Beth Hoy is a pastor, baker and a contestant on The Great Australian Bake Off 2025. She started baking with her grandmother and associates it with sharing love. It’s now her favourite thing to do with her three young children. She works as a pastor so it’s no surprise she enjoys caring for others, she shares a lot of her baking with her church community.
An accredited Baptist pastor, Beth leads Aberfoyle Park Baptist Church, alongside her husband Llewelyn Hoy. The couple became the pastors of APBC in 2021. She was ordained at Aberfoyle Park Baptist Church in January 2022. She previously served as a leader in the Baptist Churches team, leading next generational ministry for a number of years.
Beth has worked at Baptist Churches of South Australia and the Northern Territory since January 2017. From 2008 – 2014, she was a Youth Worker at All Nations Baptist Church in Seaview, South Australia, Australia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Theology at Tabor College in 2015.
Before she became a pastor, Beth trained and worked as a florist. She is also a committed gardener and takes a great deal of pride in her vegetable patch and educating others on how to grow at home and eat seasonably and affordably.
