Ben Simmoneau is an American anchor and reporter for WCVB’s NewsCenter 5 at 4:30, 5:00, and 5:30 PM, as well as The 10 O’Clock News on MeTV Boston. Him joining WCVB Channel 5 marked a return to Hearst Television for him who began his career at WGAL, the Hearst-owned NBC affiliate in Harrisburg-Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He joined NewsCenter 5 from WNYW, the Fox flagship station in New York City where he worked as a weekday morning anchor since June 2013. Prior to joining Fox, he spent five years working as an anchor and investigative reporter for KYW, the CBS-owned television station in Philadelphia.
