Angellica Bell is a British television and radio presenter. She is best known as a presenter on CBBC between 2000 and 2006. She is also known for providing occasional cover on The One Show and for co-presenting The Martin Lewis Money Show. The mother of two won the 2017 series of Celebrity MasterChef.

Angellica grew up in West London and went on to study Politics at university. It was there she had her first taste of broadcasting getting involved with radio and presented a daily student breakfast show. Her career at the BBC started in 2000 as a presenter for Children’s and during her 6 and a half years there, was BAFTA nominated twice for Best Presenter.

Angellica has had lots of voiceover experience and narrates a BBC1 Daytime show, Family Finders, which follows the journeys of different people in search of lost loved ones. Other narration includes children’s books and stories, promos and corporate videos.

At the end of 2015, Angellica fronted a one off special for Channel 5 called Police Interceptors – Dog Squad which saw her being on the frontline and working with the Darlington and Durham Dog Squad Units. Angellica’s career started at Children’s BBC, she was the face of CBBC for 6 and a half years. She presented shows such as The Saturday Show, Short Change and 50/50, and made regular appearances on Blue Peter. Her intelligent and warm presenting style led to BAFTA recognition and she was nominated for two consecutive years in the Best Children’s Presenter Award category. She has also won the Best Presenter Award at the Screen Nation Awards. Having formally left, she was asked to go back to front Angellica Time Traveller, which looked at the abolition of the slave trade.

Other CBBC credits include Election with Jonathan Dimbelby, a political show for young people, which went on to win a Children’s Bafta, as well as Project Parent which helped children find dates for their single parents.

Angellica has had the opportunity to transfer her skills to radio. She presented Making Tracks for Radio 3 – an alternative music show for young people, which also included fronting live musical concerts around the country with various BBC Orchestras.

Angellica has recently read for the Bedtime Stories strand on Cbeebies and this year was asked to be a judge for the Blue Peter Book Awards.

She has a weekly column in the Surrey Comet talking about the balance of being a working mum and also writes for Time and Leisure magazine. Her hobbies include playing the cello and this year has learned to swim and ride a bike!
