Alisyn Camerota is a journalist, author, and anchor. She currently anchors CNN’s weekday afternoon coverage with Victor Blackwell. Alisyn previously anchored CNN’s morning show “New Day.” with John Berman for more than six-year. She joined CNN on July 14, 2014. In her career, Camerota has covered major stories nationally and internationally. She won an Emmy Award for her breaking news coverage of the arrest of Roger Stone. Camerota has also earned the Edward R. Murrow Award for her breaking news coverage of Hurricane Maria’s impact on Puerto Rico.

Since joining CNN, she has been at the forefront of today’s most critical news events, including the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, the Paris and Brussels terror attacks, and the Parkland, Florida school shooting, which killed 17 people and injuring 17 others.
