Alisha Henderson is a pastry chef and contestant on Dessert Masters 2024. She is the owner of Sweet Bakes, a successful online business based in Melbourne. She started Sweet Bakes in 2013 at the age of 19 while working as a professional cheerleader and studying a university degree in journalism.
Alisha’s mission to spread sweetness, with cake gifting and shippable sweets saw her bring to life the famous Cake Mail Club during the pandemic. The Cake Mail Club swept Australia by storm, bringing a sense of community, cheer & perhaps the sugar high the world so needed. The Cake Mail Club now runs once a month with a new delicious theme on each occasion.
In 2023 Alisha co-founded the Co.Bake Space alongside her baking partner in crime, Miss Trixie Drinks Tea, aka Alice Bennett. Both businesses bake from the commercial kitchen situated in Melbourne’s Richmond and the front studio is now a premium pop-up, event and activation space, where the pair also run workshops and highly anticipated bake sales, according to his Dessert Masters bio.
