Albane Valenzuela is an American-born, Swiss professional golfer. She currently plays on the U.S based LPGA Tour. The two-time Olympian began playing golf at age of 3 years old in Mexico City. Valenzuela had a very decorated amateur career, some of Albane Valenzuela’s amateur career include; winning at the 2013 Swiss National Match Play Championship with fellow Swiss Rachel Rossel, the Bulgarian Amateur Open, and the 2014 Swiss International Championship. In 2015, She won at the Spanish International Stroke Play, the Doral Publix Junior Classic, and the Junior Orange Bowl Championship.

Valenzuela was the number one ranked golfer in Switzerland and reached number 2 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. Valenzuela has made several team appearances as an amateur including; being in the Europe victorious team at the 2013 Junior Vagliano Trophy, the European team at the 2015 Junior Solheim Cup. The Swiss team at the European Ladies’ Team Championship in 2014 and 2015. She was also in the Swiss team at the 2012 and 2013 European Girls’ Team Championship.

Valenzuela finished 5th at the LPGA Q-Series to earn status for the 2020 LPGA Tour season, Valenzuela turned professional in 2019 after earning her LPGA Tour card. In 2020 her rookie year on the LPGA Tour, she played in 10 events making cuts in five. Valenzuela is a two-time Olympian, she played at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics as an amateur, she finished 21st. She also played at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics played in 2021, where she finished T18. Valenzuela graduated from Ecole Moser high school. She later joined Stanford University where she played her collegiate golf and earned one win. Valenzuela graduated in 2020 with a degree in political science.
